Historic State Meet Sprints Video: Kenzo Cotton 10.41 100m & Freshman Chloe Akin-Otiko 200m Records
My first volume of video from the 2013 Nebraska High School Track and Field State Meet
Historic Sprints: Kenzo Cotton’s (class of 2014) 10.41 100 meter state record run at the 2013 Nebraska High School Track and Field State Meet and freshman sensation Chloe Akin-Otiko who set a Class A state record in the 200 meter. The freshman also captured all-class gold in the 100 meter (12.00) and she won the Class A long jump with a leap of 18-9.Earlier in the day, before Cotton broke the 100m state record, he anchored the Papillion-LaVista boys 400 relay to a new state record (41.40). Cotton finished the meet with a 21.54 all-class gold win in the Class A 200m finals. The time was well off the 21.31 Nebraska state record which he set last year and even shy of the 21.52 that he ran in the prelims on Friday.
Maybe Kenzo just did not want to go overboard with all this record-breaking stuff.
