MHN Correction
I’ve stated in several recent posts that no freshman boy has won a state meet all-class gold medal in the 100m, 200m or 400m—I stand corrected. According to Omaha World-Herald Staff Writer Stu Pospisil’s May, 18th article Young, with speed to burn, Beatrice’s Kenton Peterson won the 100m as a freshman in 1992.
