Cotton & Nichols Advance at USATF National Junior Olympics

On Thursday (July 26), Nebraska high school 200 meter state record holder Kenzo Cotton ran a 22.04 200 meter semifinal time to lead all intermediate boys going into Saturday’s finals at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships, contested at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

On Wednesday, Kenzo posted the second fastest 100 meter qualifying time (10.89) time to win

Hot Nebraska HS Prospects: Fremont’s Danny Aldaba Rockets to Post 3rd All-time Best 1600m Mark

Fans in attendance at the Millard South Invite, on Thursday, were treated to witnessing Fremont sophomore Danny Aldaba run the 3rd fastest 1600m (4:12.24) in Nebraska High school history. His time was less than 2 seconds shy of the all-time best mark of 4:10.44

Nebraska Prep Track & Field Prospects Sign Division 1 offers

Morgan Woitzel looks to continue her track career at Nebraska.

 

This past Wednesday, Millard South’s Morgan Woitzel signed a letter of intent to attend Nebraska.

Wotizel tied the state meet 400 meter mark (55.67, 6th best all-time) as a freshman and during her a sophomore year she nearly entered the all time chart in the 800 meter.
