Eric Leider dishes to 6' 2" Elijah Johnson, a 2009 5 star Kansas University commit and # 6 rated guard in US, for a leaping two-handed monster power dunk--filmed Johnson's junior year at Cheyenne HS in Las Vegas, NV during state tournament.
The Lincoln Journal Star 2009 Super-State Football Team features Crete lineman Ryne Reeves, a Nebraska University commit, as the only junior to make the First Team Offense. Iowa University LB recruit Cole Fisher, Millard North; Quentin Urban, Millard South, and Aurora punter Tyson Broekemeir are the only juniors to make the First Team Defense.
Pictured at left,Howells’ Clint Belina–without a doubt–put up the most impressive numbers out of all the first team selections: Belina amassed over 6,600 rushing yards in his career. The 6-foot-2-inch, 205-pounder toted the rock for 2,674 yards this season, averaging an astonishing 12,5 yards a carry. Despite these prolific numbers, Belina made Super State First Team as an athlete on defense. Hmm!
Creighton Preps’ Cody Hobbs finally got some deserved love as the bruising 5-foot-9-inch, 180-pound FB/LB garnered First Team Defense honors as a LB.
Finally, it was good to see Omaha Burke’s Lavant Moore rise from near obscurity last season to become a lock as a First Team Super State selection. The kid has great, soft hands and he will fight to catch anything thrown near him. If this young man keeps improving we will hear from him again at the college level and perhaps beyond–he is that talented. Only grades stand between Moore and a D-IA offer.

Quentin Urban, ATH, (5-10, 190) Millard South H.S. Class of 2011.
A First Team All-State performer as a LB, Urban was just as deadly on offense--accounting for 22 touchdowns for the 2009 Class A State Football Champion Millard South Patriots.
