The only reason Iowa fans don’t want to talk about the past with Football is because there is no past to speak of! But when it comes to wrestling that’s all Iowa fans want to bring up is how many years they’ve won it. So don’t get mad at us when we talk about having 5 National Championships because you know you would be if you had them to talk about!

All I have to say to the Hawkeyes is you weren’t even on the map of college football until “Haden Frye” (good Coach lot’s of respect for him) came along and reserected your football program. Before coach Frye you use to get your yearly spanking from OSU & MU by score of 59-0. Your team now days are good not great. When you win the national title and prove to all the Nation that your are the best team in college football then you can talk. Until then just shut up and play football and prove it on the football field!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all. I find it humorous that everyone says the Big Ten is terrible this decade but have no proof of it at all! Ohio State choking in Big games is the only basis you have for that. The big ten is winning against the SEC with head to head matches. As for Iowa. Iowa beat Iowa State 35-3 and Nebraska lost to Iowa State! The big ten won two BCS bowl games last year as well. They win bowl games every year.

Nebraska has been to the promised land five times since 1970. How many for the Hawkeyes? Zero. I just remember Eric Crouch blasting that Iowa DB to the ground in the 42-7 Husker blowout of Iowa the last time we met in Iowa City. Outside of Iowa, Nebraska is held in much higher regard. It will always be that way, too. Sorry to burst your bubble.
