OK! It’s midseason and we’ve got a look at or have heard of or have read about some of the top-notch basketball talent out there. So with that in mind, we decided to put together a list of the top 25 basketball prospects in the state.
Let me emphasis again: “This is a ranking of the top prospects–players that have the most ability to play at the college level.” This is not a ranking of the best basketball players in Nebraska, although many in our ranking would also be at the top of such a list.
To add more spice to the mix, we did not rank the players based on their graduation year–Action Force threw everyone (freshmen-seniors)into this pot to come up with a snapshot of what we consider to be the best high school prospects in the state of Nebraska!
Let’s start off by looking at top prospects numbers 25-11:
The Top 10 Nebraska high school prospects will be released on Friday, January 16th.

where in the hell is TJ Vacura and Austin Jackson from Cambridge, TJ is an amazing senior and Austin Jackson is only a freshman and is already really good. Quit just looking at the big schools kids, and start looking at the real talent.
Quentin Urban, ATH, (5-10, 190) Millard South H.S. Class of 2011.
A First Team All-State performer as a LB, Urban was just as deadly on offense--accounting for 22 touchdowns for the 2009 Class A State Football Champion Millard South Patriots.
